At work we are asked to wear a black and white outfit whenever we are on duty. If there is one thing I found out is that if you want people to treat you like a professional, you have to dress like a professional. I know that this translates to that. 

Sa trabaho, kami ay nasabihan na kailangan magsuot ng black and white kapag nasa duty. Kung meron man ako isang natuto, ay kung gusto mo itrato ka ng professional, kailangan manamit ka ng professional. Alam ko ito ay pasado na para doon.

Lately bright colors with this kind of outfit has become such a trend. I decided to try it out myself. I'm very petite so anything that is billowy makes me look like I am pregnant or have a big stomach. I decided to tuck in the shirt. I think it looks stylish that way.

Ang mga makukulay na damit ay trendy ngayon. Napagisipan ko na subukan ko din ito. Hindi ako matangkad, kaya ang mga damit na parang tent ang shape ay nagpapamukha saakin na pregnant o malaki ang tiyan. Nagpasya ako na ituck in ang damit. Sa isip ko maganda ang itsura niya na ganyan.

It is true when they say that if you look good, you feel good. How you look good is the question. The answer is that it is up to you. If you are confident wearing button down shirts, or strips, or long sleeves then it will show that you own your look. I on the other hand love polka dots. There is just something about those circles that makes it such a happy print. These polka dots have different sizes and that is just lovely.

Totoo ang kasabihan na kung maganda ang suot mo maganda ang feeling mo. Paano nga ba malalaman kung maganda ang suot mo. Ang sagot ay, ito ay nasa sa iyo. Kung masaya ka sa pagsuot ng button down shirts, o strips, o long sleeves, makikita ito sa iyong itsura. Ako ay mahilig sa polka dots. Nagustuhan ko ang mga bilog, napakasaya siya. Ang polka dots na suot ko, iba iba ang kanyang laki at ito ay napakaganda.

On a day that I am not sure what to wear, I start with the color black and choose a bright color to match with it. I think the result is fabulous. It also reminds me of the beach, sand, and sky.

Sa araw na hindi ko sigurado kung ano ang susuotin, pumipili muna ako ng damit na itim at isama ko iyon sa maliwanag na kulay. Sa isip ko maganda ang itsura. Naalala ko din ang dagat, buhangin, at langit.

The Colors of Sunshine

There are times that we get scared to pair a very colorful ensemble. At first I was as well. In fact until now, sometimes I still am afraid. But you have to let go of the fear. Sometimes all you need to do is trust that you are good with color mixing. I call this the colors of the sunshine. Red, yellow, brown. Who knew they would go well together. 

May mga araw na takot tayo maghalo ng napakakulay na damit. Sa una ganun din ako. Sa totoo, hanggang ngayon minsan natatakot parin ako. Pero kailangan bitawan ang pangamba. Minsan ang kailangan mo lang ay maniwala sa sarili mo na magaling ka pumili. Ang tawag ko dito ay ang mga kulay ng sikat ng araw. Pula, dilaw, kayumanggi. Sino akala na maganga ang pagsama nila.

There are times at work when it is necessary to wear a white and black ensemble. But who says it has to be the same kind every time? I tried to abide by the rules but give it my own little spin. There you have it! Kind of like office meets rocker chic.

One Bright Color

Magandang umaga sainyo!

Apple green. That is the color of my skirt. Today I decided to be colorful in my fashion choice but still tone it down. The green is quite attractive already so I paired it with white and black compliments.

Apple green. Ayan ang kulay ng aking skirt. Napagisipan kong maging colorful ngayong araw gamit ang isang kulay. Ang green niya ay maganda na ang itsura kaya naglagay na lamang ako ng puti at itim na mga kasama.
